WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police have arrested a 43-year-old woman following an alleged strong-arm robbery that occurred earlier this month on Delaware Avenue.
Authorities say that on October 14, 2025, at approximately 10:38 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Delaware Avenue after receiving reports of a robbery. Responding officers located the suspect, identified as Tanjernika Scott, and recovered the stolen property, which was subsequently returned to the victim.
Following the investigation, Scott was charged with first-degree robbery. She was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Correctional Institution in lieu of $50,000 cash-only bail…
