Penns Grove in Salem County is celebrating news this week that a grocery store is coming to town, taking over the space of the recently closed Rite Aid Pharmacy building.
The location is at the intersection of Main Street and Route 130 (Virginia Avenue) which is the commercial core of town featuring the new Super Wawa and McDonald’s, as well as Family Dollar, TD Bank, Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts and more
News was first made public by the installation of banners on the building saying “12,000 ft Supermarket Coming Soon”
Soon after, Mayor La’Daena Londo went to Facebook to conduct a livestream from the Rite Aid parking lot.. to further extend the announcement to the community of the exciting Grocery plans. She added that the plans for the space will also include a connected Pharmacy. (Facebook Video)…
