Neighbor Hero Prevents Kidnapping after Man Attacks Mother and Tries to Snatch Toddler in Upper Darby; Suspect in Custody

Upper Darby, PA – A Good Samaritan helped prevent a potential kidnapping after a man allegedly tried to snatch a two-year-old from her mother on the street, authorities said. The incident occurred on October 15 in Upper Darby.

Incident Details

Shianna Carter had just returned home with her daughter when a man, later identified as Khrishon Parker, 22, approached her on a street corner in broad daylight. Surveillance footage shows Parker moving toward the mother and child despite her pleas to stay away.

Carter told ABC 6 Action News that Parker attempted to grab her daughter, claiming the child was his. She said:

“He grabs me and grabbed my daughter, like, ‘give me my daughter,’ and punches and shoves me. I’m not letting my daughter go, and he rips my daughter’s shirt.”

Heroic Neighbor Intervenes

The mother’s screams were heard by neighbor Sean Miller, who ran to assist. Miller described the moment, saying: “I had him pressed up against the gate. I just sprung right into action, didn’t think twice.” Parker reportedly dropped to his knees, started praying, and then vomited during the confrontation…
