Man charged with pistol whipping Newark man during drug deal gone wrong

A Newark man who claimed he was assaulted while selling an Apple Watch to a stranger was actually attacked while selling marijuana in the parking lot of the fulfillment warehouse where he works, according to court documents.

The alleged assailant, 27-year-old Najee Chambers, is now behind bars.
