WILMINGTON, DE — A 32-year-old Wilmington man has been arrested after police allegedly discovered a loaded firearm and significant quantities of crack cocaine during a traffic stop and subsequent search, authorities said.
According to Wilmington Police, members of the Safe Streets Task Force conducted a vehicle stop around 6:50 p.m. on October 29 in the 200 block of North DuPont Street. Officers made contact with the driver, identified as Jhavon Goode, and following a brief investigation, took him into custody without incident.
Police reported recovering a loaded 9mm handgun and approximately 11.25 grams of crack cocaine from the vehicle. Later, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in the 3900 block of Sussex Drive, where they seized an additional 104 grams of crack cocaine along with drug paraphernalia…
