On November 1, 2025, Delaware State Police arrested Benjamin Rife, 35, of Wilmington. He was charged with his fifth felony DUI offense. The arrest took place at the Winterthur Museum. A public safety officer reported a suspicious person. Troopers found Rife’s vehicle stuck in the grass near the property.
Rife refused field sobriety tests. Police records show he has four prior DUI convictions. He was taken to Troop 1. Police obtained a blood search warrant.
