PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — State and county law enforcement say they made more than 100 arrests in 10 days, targeting drug dealers who bring illegal narcotics out of Philadelphia to sell in the suburbs.
Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said over two five-day periods in September and October, police from Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware and Philadelphia counties conducted 327 traffic stops and arrested 102 people. Ninety-four arrests resulted in drug charges.
Police also seized 12 illegal firearms, along with fentanyl/heroin, meth, cocaine, PCP, oxycodone, suboxone, Xanax, psilocybin mushrooms, codeine, and marijuana. The narcotics have an estimated street value of more than $365,000…
