Wilmington community pushes back on proposed closure of Plummer Corrections Center

Wilmington’s Plummer Community Corrections Center is currently scheduled to close by March 2026, but a former inmates are not pleased.

Department of Correction officials offered a presentation for residents during Wednesday’s Wilmington City Council Intergovernmental Committee meeting, attempting to explain the need for the closure.
