Man falls off bike, dies after being struck by 2 cars on busy N.J. highway, police say

A man who fell off his bicycle while trying to cross the Black Horse Pike in Gloucester County was struck by two cars and died Thursday night, police said.

The 39-year-old Glassboro man was trying to cross the busy highway at its intersection with Berlin-Cross Keys Road in Monroe Township around 9 p.m., according to a statement from the Monroe Township Police Department.

He fell off the bike while in the southbound travel lane and was first hit by a minivan that was traveling on that side of the highway and then by an SUV that was travelling behind it, the department said…
