Newark Police say a Wilmington man was taken into custody following a robbery reported in the early morning hours of November 7, 2025, in the 1100 block of South College Avenue. Officers were dispatched around 1:32 a.m. after receiving a report of an assault outside a business.
According to police, the suspect, identified as 24-year-old Jordan Maness, confronted a man in the parking lot and made statements suggesting he intended to retrieve a firearm.
