ELKTON — A woman wanted by Delaware authorities for failing to appear for a court proceeding relating to her sixth drunken-driving arrest is now facing DUI charges in Cecil County, after she allegedly caused a minor traffic accident near Elkton, according to the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators identified the suspect as Denise Jacobs, 62, of New Castle, Del.
CCSO deputies were patrolling in the westbound lane of Route 40, near the Delaware Avenue intersection, at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Thursday when they saw a vehicle “operating erratically as it changed lanes and collided with another moving vehicle,” police reported…
