A traffic collision closed Harvey Road in Claymont early Thursday morning after first responders were dispatched to the Interstate 95 northbound off-ramp at approximately 6:26 a.m.
The incident was initially reported as a crash with entrapment. Crews from the Claymont Fire Company and Brandywine Hundred Fire Company confirmed one person trapped on arrival.
Firefighters worked to free the individual, who was freed a short time later. Command recalled all paramedic units and Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4 after determining they were not needed. Both involved drivers declined transport to the hospital…
