More than a dozen tenants forced to leave Delaware County apartment complex after its condemnation

GLENOLDEN, P.A. (KYW Newsradio) — A Delaware County apartment complex was ruled so dangerous that it was condemned, forcing dozens of its residents to vacate on the cusp of the holidays.

From dangerously high carbon monoxide levels to a natural gas leak and a boiler shooting water into an electrical room, Turner Apartments on Chester Pike in Glenolden was found by inspectors to have multiple dangerous issues.

Glenolden Borough Manager Brian Razzi said the last thing authorities wanted was to put people out of their homes during the holidays, but residents were in a very dangerous situation…
