Wilmington Police Arrest 44-Year-Old Suspect Charles Ray in Connection with Washington Street Stabbing

Wilmington Police recently made an arrest in connection with a stabbing that occurred earlier this month, according to official reports. The incident unfolded on November 10, around 4:16 p.m., when officers from the Special Operations Division were called to the 1300 block of Washington Street. A 30-year-old male victim was found and subsequently treated at a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition. The case swiftly fell into the hands of Detective Michael Chambers of the Criminal Investigations Division, according to the Wilmington Police Department.

Through diligent work, Detective Chambers was quickly able to identify 44-year-old Charles Ray as the prime suspect, working to rapidly obtain an arrest warrant.
