Wilmington police have announced charges against two drivers following a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred late last month on the city’s west side.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, investigators with the Special Operations Division Traffic Unit determined that the victim ran into the roadway and entered the path of oncoming traffic. Police said the drivers of the two vehicles that struck the pedestrian were not at fault for causing the collision itself. However, both drivers have been charged with offenses related to leaving the scene.
Victoria Goral, 31, was charged with leaving the scene of a collision resulting in death, obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence, failure to report a collision resulting in injury or death, and removing a vehicle from the scene of a collision resulting in death. She was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and released after posting $2,200 secured bail…
