Stolen Cards, Gift Card Trail: Police Seek Suspect in New Castle Theft Case

NEW CASTLE, DE — New Castle County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to an alleged credit card theft and fraudulent spending spree that began in a residential neighborhood and moved quickly into local businesses.

According to police, officers responded on Saturday, December 13, 2025, to the 2200 block of Farrand Drive to investigate a reported theft. The victim told officers that multiple credit cards were allegedly stolen from their vehicle. Shortly afterward, the victim began receiving bank alerts indicating the cards were being used at several area businesses.

Investigators said surveillance footage obtained from one of those businesses shows an individual allegedly using the stolen credit cards to purchase gift cards. Police released the image in an effort to identify the suspect and advance the investigation…
