A dad asked his son to help ‘chop up’ a body, cops say. Now they’ve both rejected plea deals.

A father and son charged in connection with the killing and dismemberment of a Gloucester County man have rejected plea offers in the case.

Prosecutors say Everton R. Thomas, 42, of Camden, shot Harold “Hal” Miller Jr. in June, and Thomas’ wife and son helped him cut up the victim’s body and get rid of his remains.

Thomas and his son, Deshawn Thomas, 23, entered not guilty pleas during post-indictment arraignment hearings last week. The third defendant, Sherrie M. Parker, 41, will appear for her arraignment hearing Jan. 12…
