A Newark man is charged with armed robbery following an altercation in the College Park neighborhood.
The incident happened at 9:20 a.m. Dec. 20 at a house in the 200 block of Madison Drive, according to Lt. Greg D’Elia, a spokesman for the Newark Police Department.
Justin Bacon, 34, knocked on the door and claimed a child living at the house had stolen his bicycle, pointing to a blue Huffy bicycle located on the front deck of the house. The resident denied the accusation and started to go back inside…
