A major post-Christmas winter storm is set to bring a hazardous mix of snow, sleet, and ice, with the latest forecasts showing significant impacts for holiday travelers and more locations in the Northeast expected to see a half-foot or more of accumulation.
The National Weather Service Weather Prediction Center says the developing storm will move in on Friday, Dec. 26, producing heavy snow and dangerous ice right through Saturday, Dec. 27.
