Gunman robs Claymont pharmacy at gunpoint before fleeing with cash and customer’s belongings

Claymont, DE – A masked gunman held up a Claymont pharmacy Wednesday morning, demanding cash from the register and a customer’s belongings before fleeing the store with an undisclosed amount of property, according to Delaware State Police.

The armed robbery occurred around 9:50 a.m. at Darley Pharmacy, located at 111 Darley Road. Troopers say an unidentified white male suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun, and ordered the employee to hand over money from the register. The worker complied without resistance…
