CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. (WPVI) – Over 30 years ago, a second grader from Pennsylvania was assigned a high school pen pal. Little did that young girl know she was writing to the person who would deliver her two children in the future.
During the school year in 1994 and 1995, second grader Megan Lewis exchanged letters with a high school junior named Suzanne. When Lewis was visiting her family for Thanksgiving, she went through some old papers from elementary school and decided to search for her pen pal on Google.
It turned out that Suzanne was now Dr. Suzanne Pugh, of Axia Women’s Health Main Line OB-GYN. But what was most shocking was that Lewis knew her – not as her pen pal but as her doctor…
