Credit card skimming devices at Elkton store spur investigation

ELKTON — An investigation is continuing after two credit card skimming devices were discovered at a discount store near Elkton on Monday, according to the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office.

CCSO officials reported that an employee at the Family Dollar at 10 Chestnut Drive, northeast of Elkton, noticed the devices on two credit card machines at approximately 12:15 p.m. Monday and contacted authorities.
