PERRYVILLE — A man is facing assault charges after he allegedly brandished a sword during a dispute with his father at a Perryville residence on Christmas Day, according to Cecil County District Court records.
A Perryville Police Department officer drew his service revolver after arriving at the residence in the 300 block of Elm Street at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday (Dec. 25) because the suspect — Keddrick Daymon Johnson, 30 — allegedly was holding a blue and black sword in his right hand, down by his side, while standing in the road in front of the dwelling, police reported.
