New Castle County Police arrested two men after they attempted to flee a traffic stop in the Middletown area on Friday night, January 2, 2026.
46-year old Eric Loudermilk of Elkton, and 59-year old Thomas Yates of Dover, were allegedly leaving an area under construction in the Whitehall development around 11 p.m., when a county police officer attempted to pull their pick up truck over. The vehicle sped away.
After being spotted again on Ratledge Road, the suspects eventually bailed out of the pick up in the Crystal Run Farms neighborhood…
