Firearm Theft Probe Leads to Arrest, Recovery of Stolen Handgun

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington police have arrested a city man in connection with an alleged theft of a firearm from a residence, an investigation that resulted in the recovery of a stolen handgun, authorities said.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers from the Uniformed Services Division responded around 11:58 a.m. on December 29 to the 300 block of Kennebec Street following a report of a firearm stolen from a home. Through subsequent investigative efforts, police identified 30-year-old Robert Dunnum as a possible suspect.
