Woodbury, NJ – A Gloucester County Sheriff’s officer has been indicted on charges of official misconduct and child endangerment following an alleged assault on a handcuffed student last month.
Prosecutors said 51-year-old Charles P. Rudolph of Franklinville, who served as a School Resource Officer, was charged Wednesday with one count each of second-degree official misconduct and second-degree endangering, abusing, or neglecting a child. Both charges carry a potential sentence of up to 10 years in state prison.
