Wawa has withdrawn plans for one of two new stores on South College Avenue.
Newark officials said the company will no longer move forward with its proposal to build a Wawa at the former Boston Market site at the corner of South College Avenue and Welsh Tract Road. The project was expected to be considered by the planning commission next month.
