Prayers Pouring In After Hall of Fame Coach Dies In ‘Horrific’ Wreck

Prayers are pouring in after a Hall of Fame coach died in a “horrific” home car accident on Saturday night.

A Hall of Fame track and field coach and his wife were killed when their car crashed into a home and caught fire on Saturday evening. The deadly crash happened in New Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia. The crash occurred in Harrison Township, New Jersey.

Driver Thomas Hengel, 72, and his passenger, 61-year-old Lisa Hengel, were killed in the crash. Thomas Hengel was a longtime track and field coach in the area. He was inducted into the Gloucester County Sports Hall of Fame in 2018. He was known as a “legendary” track and cross country coach…
