State of Emergency declared in Wilmington by Mayor Carney

Mayor John Carney has declared a State of Emergency in Wilmington due to the coming winter storm.

The action directs that people deemed non-essential not drive in the city after 1:00 a.m. Sunday except for a significant safety, medical or health-related reason.

City parks and public spaces will also be off-limits for public access except for designated shelters and public safety buildings after 6:00 p.m. Saturday
