A man and a woman are facing drug-related charges following a combined law enforcement investigation in the Christiana-Bear area.
According to Delaware State Police, an investigation into Charles Fax Jr. had been underway for several months. Last Friday, members of the New Castle County Drug Unit, New Castle County Governor’s Task Force and the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team executed a search warrant on Leaf Lane. Police said Fax was located near the sump pump in the basement. Fax and Amber Hoffmaster were each detained without incident in the basement.
According to Police, Fax was a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition.
State Police said a search of the residence turned up the following:
