Some roads in the hillier parts of Wilmington are still good for sledding, if you don’t mind gray and brown slush.
Wilmington residents have been digging out of a snowstorm that dropped 9 inches of snow and ice on the city the weekend of Jan. 24-25. The sub-freezing temperatures and early week school closures mean the city is still emerging back to real life, and seeing buried cars and lightly plowed streets.
