For the second time this week, a fire in a townhouse resulted in a mayday call.
Firefighters were initially called out around 3 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026, to Simonds Gardens for the report of an outside fire, however, they soon discovered the fire was actually in the 100 block of Thorn Lane in Rosegate.
