Detective Christopher Skrobot began his distinguished career with the New Castle County Police Department on January 19, 2016, as a member of the 42nd Recruit Class. Following his graduation from the Police Academy, he was assigned to B-Squad in the Patrol Division, where he quickly earned a reputation as a dedicated officer who led by example, consistently demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to the community.
In October 2020, after completing the rigorous Police Motorcycle Operators Course, he became a certified member of the New Castle County Police Motorcycle Unit, where he proudly rode a motorcycle for escorts, parades, and special events. In December 2020, Detective Skrobot was transferred to the Evidence Detective Unit, where he made an immediate impact and quickly established himself as a thorough, meticulous investigator, a role he held for the remainder of his career.
