The New Castle County Division of Police has arrested a Bear man in connection with multiple incidents involving indecent exposure and lewd behavior.
According to police, on Friday, February 6, 2026, at approximately 4:25 p.m., officers responded to the area of Songsmith Drive and Carvel Lane after receiving reports of a male with his pants down exposing himself to passing motorists. Witnesses provided a description of the suspect’s clothing, and officers subsequently located an individual matching that description near a business on Quintilio Drive. While officers were speaking with the suspect, another victim reported that the same individual had exposed himself in front of a business in the 400 block of Governors Place. That portion of the investigation was handled by the Delaware State Police, officials said.
Police identified the suspect as 41-year-old John Warhop of Bear. He was taken into custody and transported to New Castle County Police Headquarters, where he was charged in connection with offenses investigated by both agencies.
