Officials have released details surrounding a crash involving a car carrier along Route 301 northbound on Tuesday.
New Castle County officials said emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at approximately 5:00 p.m. after reports that a tractor trailer had left the roadway. Upon arrival, units located the vehicle off the roadway, where it had come to rest near a retention pond.
The driver of the tractor trailer, described as a 30-year-old male, was evaluated at the scene and declined transportation to a hospital.
