DOVER — Two long-term former state legislators — Sen. George Bunting Jr., D-Ocean View, and Rep. John Viola, D-Newark — have died.
Mr. Bunting, 81, passed Feb. 12. The lawmaker served nearly 30 years in the General Assembly, where he began as a representative in 1982. Then, from 1996 to 2012, he represented District 20 in the Delaware Senate.
