Traffic stop in New Castle leads to felony drug charges for two Delaware men

NEW CASTLE, DE — An early-morning traffic stop on Memorial Drive resulted in the arrest of two men after a state trooper discovered suspected crack cocaine, heroin, and drug distribution materials inside their vehicle, according to the Delaware State Police.

The stop occurred at about 1:30 a.m. on February 9, when a trooper pulled over a Volvo XC90 for an equipment violation near North Dupont Highway.
