Tired Hands Continues Quiet Downsizing with Kennett Square Closure

It would appear as if Tired Hands is continuing to silently close down operations. As we shared yesterday, the brewery recently (quietly) shut down Ardmore Brewing Company. And now we are being told of another silent exit as their Kennett Square location recently closed.

Much like Ardmore Brewing, the current license for the Kennett Square taproom has expired as of December 2025. Also, in similar fashion, Tired Hands has no public mention of the closure.

Unlike Ardmore Brewing, who’s google page reads as “Temporarily Closed” and, as we learned, is open for private events only, this closing seems to be more permanent. The listing for their Kennett Square space shows the facility as “Permanently Closed”. A decision that must have been made recently as the brewery posted from their Kennett Square Instagram page as early as 3 weeks ago.

Closing businesses without informing the public is not uncommon in the craft beer space. Most notably Rogue Ales, with one of the largest footprints in craft beer, shutdown completely with no word to the public…
