Emergency crews responded late Saturday night after a worker fell into a well in the 200 block of Silver Lake Road, prompting a multi-agency technical rescue operation.
According to Assistant Public Information Officer Jamielee Majewski, the call was dispatched at approximately 10:47 p.m. on Saturday, for a person trapped inside a confined space. Units arrived to find a worker who had fallen into a well and sustained injuries.
Members of the New Castle County Paramedic Technical Rescue Team and the New Castle County Special Operations Team entered the confined space to provide patient care while coordinated rescue efforts were carried out.
