A man is behind bars for assault and other crimes after New Castle County Police said he attacked another man with a hatchet.
Officers went to Maple Avenue in Bellefonte early Tuesday, and found a 20-year-old man with a bleeding hand. Police said investigators determined that the assault resulted from an online argument between the victim and 19-year-old Logan Albright of Wilmington, and that the attack occurred in the victim’s front yard.
Albright also sustained minor injuries and went to the hospital, where detectives later found him. He was treated, released, arraigned, and put behind bars.
