A New Jersey man has been charged with assault following a parking lot altercation on Thursday afternoon, February 26, 2026 near Newark.
Delaware State Police said 52-year old Aldo Funari II of Carneys Point Township, became involved in a verbal dispute with a 69-year old Newark man, after one accused the other of hitting their vehicle in the parking lot of the Wawa at Routes 4 & 72.
