WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Area School District has appointed Zachary Lewis as principal of Fugett Middle School following approval by the West Chester Area School Board of Directors, the district announced.
Lewis brings more than a decade of experience in public education and district leadership, most recently serving as a middle school principal in Philadelphia, where he led schoolwide improvement efforts focused on academic growth, school climate and access to learning opportunities.
According to the district, Lewis has led initiatives including the launch of a dual-language program for multilingual learners and efforts to strengthen family and community partnerships.
