The Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles is implementing new security screening protocols at all DMV locations this week.
Customers will now be required to pass through weapons detector systems that are staffed by private security when entering a DMV facility. Additionally, changes to entering and exiting the facilities are also being made. All DMVs will continue to have law enforcement present at each location also.
“The Delaware DMV processes nearly one million transactions annually, and we appreciate the public’s patience as we enhance security at our facilities statewide,” said Secretary of Transportation Shanté Hastings in a press release…
