RIDLEY CREEK STATE PARK, DELAWARE CO. (WOLF) — An investigation into suspected human remains discovered in Ridley Creek State Park has been closed after officials determined the remains belonged to a deer.
As we first reported Saturday, police were called around 12:30 p.m. Friday after two hikers reported finding what they believed were human remains near the intersection of Chapel Hill Road and Ridley Creek Road in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County.
Upper Providence Township Police responded and requested assistance from the Delaware County Medical Examiner’s Office.
