Landenberg Man Killed In Hockessin Crash

The Delaware State Police is investigating a fatal two-vehicle head-on crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Hockessin.

Officials said on March 10, 2026, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound on Lancaster Pike, south of Mc Govern Road. At the same time, a Hyundai Sonata was traveling northbound on Lancaster Pike, south of Mc Govern Road. For reasons currently being investigated, the Hyundai crossed over the double yellow line and crashed head-on into the Chevrolet.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 65-year-old man from Landenberg, Pennsylvania, was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name is being withheld until his family is notified…
