New Jersey man charged in 2024 Dallas Township burglary

DALLAS TWP. — Police in Dallas Township say they charged a New Jersey man with a smash-and-grab burglary at a gasoline service station in 2024.

Daniel Ramos, 55, of Penns Grove, was named a suspect from DNA evidence recovered from a sledgehammer recovered from inside the Valley Mart Citgo station on state Route 309 on June 12, 2024, according to court records.

Surveillance footage showed a man using a sledgehammer to smash the front glass door, enter the business and steal 105 packs of Newport cigarettes valued at $1,280, court records say…
