Ny’Leek Ellison has died one year after he was struck while getting off a SEPTA bus in Chester, Delaware County, police confirmed. Family friends posted on social media “I am formally announcing the passing of Ny’Leek Ellison. His passing occurred at 8:25 this morning, March 26th, 2026, at Nemours Dupont Children’s Hospital.”
The crash happened at 9th Street and Tilghman Street around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4, when officers responded to reports of a child struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, according to Chester Police.
Ny’Leek suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Crozer Chester Medical Center before being airlifted to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where he remained in critical condition after the crash, authorities said…
