Police: Man Assaulted Medical Personnel After Trespassing, Stealing Booze From State College Apartment

A Chester County man is facing charges for allegedly entering a State College apartment without permission, stealing liquor and later assaulting medical personnel after he was found intoxicated on a sidewalk.

Manuel A. Deleon-Garcia, 22, was charged Thursday with three felony and four misdemeanor counts stemming from the alleged incidents over State Patty’s weekend in the borough.

One resident of an East Nittany Avenue apartment saw via a Ring camera recording an unknown male enter the residence just before 1 a.m. on March 1 and notified her roommates, who were in their bedrooms at the time, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by State College police. A review of the footage showed the man, later identified as Deleon-Garcia, stumble up the hallway and into the apartment, then leaving with a bottle of vodka and an eight-pack of lemonade vodka cans, police wrote…
