A Wilmington man has been charged in connection with a robbery and burglary investigation stemming from an incident reported early Friday morning on East 35th Street, according to police.
Wilmington Police said officers with the Uniformed Services Division responded at about 5:09 a.m. on March 28, 2026, to the 300 block of East 35th Street for a reported robbery. Investigators said the victim told officers that an unknown man entered his vehicle and removed property. When the victim chased after the suspect, the suspect allegedly displayed a knife.
Police said the investigation led officers to identify the suspect as 42-year-old Dante Penn. At about 9:05 a.m. the same day, officers located Penn in the 2300 block of Northeast Boulevard and took him into custody without incident.
