Man arrested for allegedly threatening Claymont students

Delaware State Police have charged a Claymont man with aggravated menacing after he allegedly threatened a pair of students with a gun outside Claymont Elementary School on Wednesday morning, April 1, 2026.

Troopers said 31-year old Anthony Dejesus was parked in a vehicle on Green Street, waiting for another adult who had escorted children into the building, when he got into a verbal exchange with the students.
